Guide map for the race.

Excitement and competitiveness was seen all over the face of each participants to reach their ultimate goal. It seems that people are all smiles during the entire race even it feels that they are already getting tired after a 5 km walk. Some people like FM888kw (local radio station), gave an encouragement to the participants by cheering them up and giving some food in the middle of the race.

The biggest problem we encountered is that it was too hot and humid amidst its area is along the seaside. I can see that the participants are very happy enjoying its scenic view while doing the brisk walking. Me and my colleagues took part ways already in the middle of the race because of our different pacing of walking.

Finally, after 2 hours, I arrived at the finish line with all smiles, receives the medal and took a picture even though I felt that my legs got sores because of unpreparedness before the event.

I must say that I really enjoyed the race, and proud that I finished it, surviving the heat and nothing bad was happened. I am also proud to my colleagues that they finish the race, survived and again nothing bad has happened to them. They challenged their selves, strive harder to finish the 11 km race.

The 11 km finisher! SURVIVED

Lesson learned: Challenging one’s self to achieve your goal, strive hard to achieve it not because their is waiting for you out there but to think that you will make it to the finish line even it takes time. Failures have no rooms but only success.
