This planned/unplanned adventure is somewhat I don’t know how to push through, because as early as 5 am that day rain poured heavily that most of the roads are not passable. Two of my co-workers are asking me for time to time if we will gonna push it through. I am confused at the same time sad that every hour the rain doesn’t stop and it becomes heavier than the usual. I answered them that we have to move our meeting time and I always check the weather every hour if the rain would stop and the sun will come out. Luckily by 10 am, the sun come up and shines very bright so I informed my friends that we will push this trip, sadly one of my friend backed out because she cannot make it already due to she will be late in our meeting time. So Cris and only me have the chance to explore what this Tree top Adventure offer to us.

From San Fernando,Pampanga we rode off to Victory Liner Bus going directly to Olongapo because that is the main point to reach Subic. A two and half hours drive passing thru the city of Lubao and Dinalupihan, Bataan.( If you have your own car, there’s an alternate route before reaching the city of Dinalupihan). The cost is about 110php/person. Upon reaching the city of Olongapo, the staff of Tree Top advised us to take a yellow jeepney going to SM Olongapo main gate. A 15 minutes ride to reach the SM Olongapo (8php/person). Just as we reached SM and the main gate one of the barter of the taxi approached us and asked where will be going. We said that we’re going to Tree Top Adventure. So he said you have to pay 300 php in order to get there. We approved the price and rode off. 15 minute drive from the main gate to the Tree Top Adventure.

Trivia: I’ve been to Subic/Olongapo  for quite sometime and somehow I know their rules and regulations in Subic. I didn’t expect only that Subic had improved alot since I left. But it never fails me to love the place and their policies.

By 3:40, we reached the Tree Top Adventure and give me an “O” formation when I saw the place. When one of the staff saw us they immediately accomodates us. They give us briefing about what Tree Top has and what are the rules and regulations like: you are not entitled to this adventure if you have fear of heights, you have a heart problem or having an asthma. And since the two of us don’t have that kinds of ailments we give a go signal to try all their rides!

Because we are late already to do the trekking we decided to choose Package A plus Silver Surfer Ride. The Package A cost 500 php/ person then on the seperate price of 250php/person for Silver Surfer Ride. An additional 20php/person for the environmental fee. Just as we finished paying it, our guide named Kuya Kiko assist us to start the Canopy Ride.

Treetop Adventure or Canopy Ride

Appreciating  unspoiled nature from up to 100 feet above the ground!  An adventure trail suspended among the rainforest’s highest branches by crossing 4 suspension bridges. And at the same time learning some facts about trees and nature care of Kuya Kiko! Look! Safety is their priority that you are secured by using harness and hard helmet!

Upon reaching the next every bridges you have to ride in a motorized cable rides of up to 220 meters long. That so scary and at the same thrilling ride right?! But look at me I have been brave enough to sit infront while smiling on the camera hahaha God Job!!!!

Ultimate Adventure – Superman Ride

Soar from tree to tree while securely suspended facedown and feet up. This thrilling trail covers 2 platforms l Wildlife!of up to 140 meters long and 100 meters high. It was just like riding in a Zipline though the difference is that the position is like planking with legs extended and both arms are holding firmly in the handle to balance your weight. Only a minute or two, pulling first fast to reach the end line and pulling faster to reach the starting point!!! A better view of nature!

Silver Surfer

Rock back and forth standing up as you securely glide above Subic’s Majestic rainforest. Feel the cold gentle wind and the breathtaking view as you convey from 10 feet up to 80 feet high. Experience the ultimate fun of surfing in the air.

And lastly, before going home have to capture the famous position of those two highest tree!

 Although we haven’t tried all of their rides, well that would be a reason to come back again to this place! I really enjoyed this day trip! #batchiandaltheaadventures
