Camp Netanya: The Santorini “like” haven in Batangas

Who wouldn’t want to go to one of dream destinations like Santorini in Greece? I think most of us wants to experience that feeling in a romantic place in Greece. Well, in just a day you can now see what Santorini looks like! So what the curious mind do when they heard something new? Of course, they immediately try to reach that one and explore what it can offer to them.

Just 3-4 hours away from the busy city of Manila you can reach this one. Found at Brgy.Ligaya, Anilao, Mabini, Batangas and situated at the highland area of Mabini lies the privately owned resort known as Camp Netanya. At first you cannot notice its place not unless you reached the main entrance of the resort.

The main reception of this resort can be found in right side far end area. Just to inform you that you have to book a reservation before going there because they have only 10 rooms. Its location and secured place will feel like you owned only this place. Plus the calm and tranquil beach  makes it more relaxing and romantic (for lovers).Beside swimming in their infinity pool you can also do snorkeling and kayaking for free! And for others who are adventurous, you can also do diving because Anilao is known for a diving range area in Batangas.

Lastly..the sunset viewing!

Here’s how to get there: Ride a bus going to Batangas Grand terminal via Jam Liner or Alps in Cubao or Buendia. Roughly 150-170php per person. Then ask the driver to drop you off at Batangas Terminal, from there ride a jeepney going to Mabini which will cost about 30-37php per person. Then go down to Mabini Crossing and look for tricycle then tell them to alight you in Camp Netanya. The fee would be 100php one way. Same goes when you go back to Manila but some of the jeepneys’ route will be until Bauan only so you have to ride a jeep going to diversion which will cost about 8-10 php then from diversion you have to ride again a tricycle going to Grand terminal which will cost again 10php. Or if you’re lucky enough, some of the jeepneys will alight you at the diversion.

Note: Please be reminded that you have to book a reservation because they only have 10 rooms. Entrance fee is 500/person. On a day tour basis you can rent a room for about 2,500 per room minimum of  2 persons and maximum of 5 persons. But if you will not take a room you can stay at the umbrella with no fee. On overnight basis, 5,000php per room good for 2 persons and an additional 1,000php/person for your other companion.Maximum:4-5 persons.

You can bring your own food with no corkage fee and free use of Dining area and a restroom. You can also do snorkeling and kayaking gears for free!

To contact them?? Here it is! Email them at: emsanilao@aol.com or you can reach them by their Facebook account: Camp Netanya   Mobile No:09279148143

Tip: They can easily contact them via email add but please be patient enough while contacting them. They received a lot of inquiries so don’t be too rude and “makulit” while contacting them.

Hope that you will enjoy the place as much as we enjoyed our day there.
